Our Policy

Genesis Salon & Day Spa offers 100% satisfaction on all hair services within two weeks of the performed service. Our goal is to provide you with the highest level of service. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with the service you received, we will be happy to correct it for you (please call within one week of service if correction is desired). Color corrections may require more than one service to achieve desired results.

Reservations

Appointments for packages and certain services typically should be scheduled at least two weeks in advance to ensure availability. Please call the salon to book your appointment at  616.866.9571 . A credit card will be needed to hold appointments for parties of three or more and for Spa Packages. All guests are contacted one or two days before to confirm exact times and services.

  • A service charge will be charged for appointments not canceled 48 hours prior to scheduled time.
  • A 25% deposit is required on Full- and Half-Day packages; refundable if canceled at least 48 hours prior to scheduled time.
  • A 25% deposit is required on groups of three or more; refundable if canceled at least one week prior to scheduled time.

Late Arrivals

If you are late for your appointment, your treatment will be reduced in order to finish on time for the next scheduled guest. The full fee of your service will be charged.

Cancellation

In the event you may need to cancel your appointment, we ask that you please contact Genesis Salon & Day Spa at least 24 hours in advance. We ask this as a courtesy to our staff members and other guests who wish to schedule. Failure to cancel 24 hours in advance may result in a $50 charge.

Payment

Genesis is pleased to honor VISA, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Personal checks are accepted (personal identification may be required). Any returned checks will be subject to a $25 fee.

Gratuities

Gratuities are not included in the price of any service, spa experience, or gift certificate. You will have the option to leave a cash tip or included as part of your payment by check or as a separate line item on your credit card slip.

Children Policy

We love the opportunity to work with your children, however we ask as a courtesy to our other guests, that children not be present unless receiving services.
